RR Projects Limited is the parent company whose purpose built corporate offices are at Parsons House, 56 Axis Business Park, Tullamore in Ireland. Founded to meet the growing mechanical and electrical engineering market in Ireland, the company has expanded to meet the international needs of the Power and Oil & Gas sectors. This came about following the successful delivery of installations in Ireland for multinational organisations, who now engage RR Projects Internationally.
Our corporate headquarters, Parsons House, is named in the memory of Sir Charles Parsons (13 June 1854 – 11 February 1931) who was an engineer, best known for his invention of the steam turbine. The ancestral home of Charles Parsons is at Birr Castle, just 50 Km from RR Projects in Tullamore. It houses a museum detailing the contribution that the Parsons family have made to the fields of science and engineering, with part of the museum dedicated to the engineering work of Charles Parsons. Because of our proximity to the Parsons historic home and the business we are in, we felt it appropriate to name our corporate offices in his name.
